Multimodality Session

Multimodality Session

A customized treatment that blends traditional and modern techniques to address the body's needs in real time. Each session can include acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, herbal medicine, eastern nutrition, guided mediation, visualization/lifestyle support, and/or Tui Na — your practitioner selects the right combination as your treatment unfolds.

Treatment Includes

• An in-depth consultation to assess what your body needs that day
• A customized blend of acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, and/or Tui Na
• Treatment adapted in real time by your practitioner
• Guidance on aftercare and follow-up

Good to know

• No fixed protocol — each session is built around that day’s assessment
• Cupping can leave temporary circular marks; they fade within days
• Best for guests who want responsive, practitioner-led care

What To Expect

Before Your Session:

Eat lightly. Have a light meal or snack an hour or two before your visit — avoid arriving on an empty stomach or right after a large meal.

Dress comfortably. Loose, comfortable clothing makes treatment points easy to access; draping is always provided for your comfort and privacy.

Share your story. Your session begins with a consultation about your health history, current concerns, and goals so your practitioner can design the right treatment.

During Your Session:

Gentle, not painful. Acupuncture needles are hair-thin — most guests feel only a brief, mild sensation at insertion, followed by warmth, heaviness, or tingling as the point activates. Many find sessions so relaxing they fall asleep.

Speak up anytime. Your comfort guides the treatment. Let your practitioner know how you’re feeling and they will adjust in real time.

After Your Session:

Rest and hydrate. Drink plenty of water and take it easy for the remainder of the day when possible. Some guests feel energized, others deeply relaxed — both are normal.

Give it time. Like exercise, benefits build with consistency. Acute concerns often respond within a few sessions; chronic conditions typically benefit from a regular course of treatment.

Safety

Acupuncture is very safe when performed by a licensed practitioner. We use only single-use, sterile, disposable needles, and all related modalities are performed with strict hygiene protocols. Minor side effects — slight soreness, small bruises at needle or cupping sites, or temporary lightheadedness — are uncommon and resolve quickly.

Please let your practitioner know before your session if you are pregnant or trying to conceive (certain points are avoided during pregnancy, and acupuncture is otherwise widely used for prenatal support); if you have a pacemaker, bleeding disorder, or take blood-thinning medication; if you have a seizure disorder; or if you have any skin conditions or infections in areas to be treated. Acupuncture complements — but does not replace — medical care, and it is not implied to cure or treat any disease. If you have significant health concerns, we recommend keeping your physician informed of your treatment plan.
