Acupuncture is one of the world's oldest continuously practiced healing arts, refined over thousands of years within Traditional Chinese Medicine. Fine, sterile needles are placed at specific points on the body to influence, redirect, increase, or decrease the flow of the body's vital energy — correcting imbalances before they take root as illness, and supporting nervous system regulation and internal balance.
Our licensed practitioners blend time-honored techniques with a modern, integrative approach — and every session takes place in a tranquil, private treatment room designed for deep rest.

is a licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist. His study and practice of the healing arts began in 1987 as a personal journey to heal chronic digestive illness, and grew into a dedicated calling. This experience, combined with his many years of practice, study, and education, gives him a practical perspective and understanding of the healing process. Jordan approaches each session with this knowledge, inquiring about and gaining an understanding of the unique needs and desires of each patient, and tailors each treatment to assist and direct you to achieve and maintain your optimum health. His practice specializes in muscular skeletal issues, whether derived from overuse in physical activity, injuries and trauma, post surgical complications, or aging and degeneration; Gastrointestinal disease and issues like Crohn’s Disease, colitis and ileitis, and IBS; along with the treatment of general health.
Depending on your treatment and your body's needs, your practitioner may draw on one or more of these traditional techniques:
Hair-thin, single-use sterile needles placed at specific points along the body's channels to regulate the nervous system, ease pain, and restore internal balance. Most guests find the experience deeply relaxing — many drift off to sleep.
A warming therapy in which an herbal blend (mugwort) is burned close to the body to stimulate certain acupuncture points, strengthening the blood and the body's vital energy.
Cups are placed on the skin, creating suction to increase local blood supply and help remove impurities from nearby tissues and organs — a favorite for muscle tension and recovery.
Traditional Chinese therapeutic massage that uses kneading, rolling, and acupressure techniques to break up muscle tension and move energy through the body's channels.
Acupuncture is a whole-body therapy — treatment supports both targeted concerns and overall vitality. Guests commonly seek treatment for: Pain & Injury Recovery, Stress, Fatigue & Mood, Digestive Health, Hormonal Balance, Healthy Aging, Weight Management.
Every treatment begins with a brief consultation so your practitioner can tailor the session to your goals and how your body presents that day.
Our foundational treatment. Performed using fine needles to stimulate specific points in the body, supporting nervous system regulation and internal balance. Ideal for first-time guests and ongoing care alike.
A customized treatment that blends traditional and modern techniques to address the body's needs in real time. Each session can include acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, herbal medicine, eastern nutrition, guided mediation, visualization/lifestyle support, and/or Tui Na — your practitioner selects the right combination as your treatment unfolds.
A targeted acupuncture treatment designed to treat muscular or joint pain in a specific focused area of the body (NOTE: not a full body or relaxing spa treatment) which has resulted from workout injury, overuse, physical dysfunction, trauma, surgery, or degenerative disease. It is especially helpful for conditions for which lasting relief has been elusive, or failed to resolve from any single modality. Along with acupuncture, massage is performed and may be accompanied by cupping, gua sha, or moxibustion. These additional modalities further break up muscle tension, promote the movement of Qi and blood for optimal movement and function.
Forms will be sent out ahead of time to asses health history, insure privacy, and get informed consent. Questions will be asked at the beginning of the session to clarify the nature and location of the issue, and a quick physical exam will all help assess and determine the modalities used and order of treatment. Additional recommendations for self care, nutritional counseling, herbal remedies and supplements will also be made when appropriate.
Acupuncture is very safe when performed by a licensed practitioner. We use only single-use, sterile, disposable needles, and all related modalities are performed with strict hygiene protocols. Minor side effects — slight soreness, small bruises at needle or cupping sites, or temporary lightheadedness — are uncommon and resolve quickly.
Please let your practitioner know before your session if you are pregnant or trying to conceive (certain points are avoided during pregnancy, and acupuncture is otherwise widely used for prenatal support); if you have a pacemaker, bleeding disorder, or take blood-thinning medication; if you have a seizure disorder; or if you have any skin conditions or infections in areas to be treated. Acupuncture complements — but does not replace — medical care, and it is not implied to cure or treat any disease. If you have significant health concerns, we recommend keeping your physician informed of your treatment plan.
